The safety and well-being of your child/children is paramount to us at Linden Little Scholars Academy because we understand the incredible trust you are placing in us. We have safeguarding policies and procedures in place. We are also directly linked to ADT and protected by Linden Neighbourhood Watch. Our designated Security guard, Masa Kaunga is on our premises throughout the day and closely monitors drop-offs and pick-ups.
We provide nutritious meals which include the option of breakfast from 7:30am until 8:15am, mid-morning snack and lunch. Our meals are freshly prepared daily by our Cook on the premises. Our Menus are on display, on our Notice Boards for parents to view. All dietary requirements are catered for.*We also cater vegetarian and vegan meals as an option if requested.
Our unique and creative thematic-based curriculum focuses on integrates different areas of play and cognitive development Our early childhood Sensory activities and Science lessons create a solid foundation for higher learning.
We follow the 4 School Terms model in line with most schools in the area. We offer a Holiday Program during school holidays at no additional cost where the children are stimulated with fun activities and enjoy a break from the school curriculum.
Linden Little Scholars Academy will work with you, the parent, to make your baby's transition a smooth and happy time by creating a warm, nurturing interaction with all babies in our care. We provide personalied care for each baby based on your baby's unique schedule, nutritional guidelines, and any special attention required. Through our low ratios; in the warm setting of each Baby Room in our Nursery; daily age-appropriate stimulation is provided as help for your infant to reach his/her developmental milestones.
This age-group enjoys activities that are built around our toddlers' limitless curiosity as we encourage their natural desire to explore through a range of indoor fun like arts, music, movement, sensory activities and outdoor gross motor play. Our toddlers days are packed with fun learning experiences that enhance their development.

My relationship with Linden Little-Scholars Academy and Babycare (Previously Hug-a-Bug Pre-school) spans eight years and three children. My older two have flourished since they left. My daughter's innate skill for gymnastics was identified here and she has gone on to National and International honours.
My son who was diagnosed with ADHD has coped beautifully with mainstream schooling as a result of the school's solid grounding. I have no doubt that my youngest will fair just as well as her siblings while she sees out her kindergarten years under the watchful eye of one of the most caring people I know. A certain Mrs Deseray Govenden.I cannot recommend this gem of a pre-school more highly.
Unequivocally, my wife and I made the correct choice when we selected Linden Little-Scholars Academy! All of the teachers are so kind to each child, truly encouraging each to their strengths. Both of our children have thrived under the direction of teachers who work at Linden Little-Scholars Academy.Our children LOVE to attend and learn. She passed her school readiness assessments and was allocated space in all the above, I know this wouldn’t have happened without your school. I have collected 2 term reports from her Big school and have never been so proud! Her performance is outstanding at Trinity House Little Falls. So far Grade 1 has been a breeze. She is part of the few students that didn’t go to their pre-primary and it shows…they can’t stop singing praises on your training and teaching. Given all the above I have decided that even though the school is now off my daily route I will still bring my son to your school so that he can also benefit from the dedicated team. Once again thank you for laying such a strong foundation in her academic development.
Ons is n Afrikaanse familie wat ons dogtertjie in Engels laat skoolgaan. Ons is werklik baie tevrede met die skool kurrikulum en die kwaliteit van opvoeding, aandag, liefde en sorg. Die skoolgronde is pragtig en skep n wonderlike atmosfeer vir kinders om in te baljaar. Die klaskamers is groot en die kinders het genoeg beweeg ruimte. Die personeel is vriendelik en professioneel.
I have 2 small children who started at the School in 2014. I am a single mother and therefore my choice of Nursery school was critical in terms of adjustment, wellbeing and emotional development for my kids. All a parent wants is for their kids to be happy, loved, appreciated and confident and my kids get it all from Linden Little Scholars Academy. The friendly, caring staff act as surrogate parents to their pupils. My kids leave everyday with happy faces, full tummies and stories of their day’s adventures. I am very grateful to Deseray and her team for the love and guidance they give to my 2 littles ones.

At Linden Little Scholars Academy we believe that the earlier the intervention, the better! Speech Language Therapy is offered during school hours. The Speech & Language Therapists from the RHM Speech Therapy and Audiology team provide on-site support for our "Little Scholars" who experience any difficulties that may be affecting their ability to communicate adequately.
